I don't use the card much where I stay. Just enough to have room and food comped.
I really don't want them tracking all my play. I go through many
casinos in one night but only have a card for one.

600 views, It seems there are many interested in
this subject or they enjoyed watching the dance
between Craig and myself. We do that over something
every few months.
I must admit when I first came here the skirmishes
between phil and Craig were a highlight for me and
attracted me to this site.
Real people, Real subjects, Real fights. I Loved it.

This Roulette subject might be one that many people
wont admit it interests them yet they read every word
every day. It may be because so many people have
lost money in casinos and are glad to hear of someone
that won a little. A little justice maybe.
It is a Taboo subject to many for religious reasons and
those may be the ones reading the most.

The general subject of gambling is scary to most
for many reasons I think. People would rather give
their money to someone else to loose for them so
they don't have to directly take the blame. They
can blame the economy, President, terrorists,
real estate, brother in law whatever.

When gambling, you set yourself up for failure
constantly. Spin after spin, it is unrelenting.
When you loose, it is a personal failure and you
feel twice as bad because you knew the odds
were against you to begin with and you did it anyway.

That is all just mind games. I cant speak for others
but when I am at the table the chips are just chips.
I don't give them value until I leave the table. I play
to acumulate chips. That may sound silly but it
works for me. I have found that being very decisive
and aggressive and above all aware, is the path to
winning.

Got to go.

WOW

I think you're using the "general chat" term a little loosely here..
This IS a musicians site, isn't it??

If I come away with midsize win on this trip.
I will plan a trip to Vegas sometime in the winter.
On that trip I will try and play for larger stakes and
really test my play through many casinos.

On this trip to AC I will move through 8 casinos
twice a day. This will tell me a lot about my
personal endurance and winning % over approx.
25-30 tables. Also about expectations with higher
stakes play.

You must have a lot of guts, Klugmo.

I get in there and do it in a couple of hours and that's about all the flashing lights/crappy music and free watered down drinks I can stand.

I think they are actively trying to ruin any precognition skills I may be trying to use to win.

If you know what they are doing.
If you are serious about winning.
Then why do it?

If you are there like most people to have
fun and enjoy. Then it is a given that
they WILL take your gambling money
unless lady luck blessed you.

I turn all that lights and drinks and music
stuff off until I'm finished playing. It's not
guts, it's control. I have a good time after.
Separation is the key.

I guess I am not the one to comment on any of this. Every time the lottery gets to a gazzillion dollars , I drive by the 7/11 and throw a buck out the window. Maybe some one who really needs it will get it.. How ever...

When I was younger I did love to play strip poker if I could find some young lovelies. In fact I thought I was pretty GOOD at it.

I NEVER WON.

Sexual motivation and economic motivation.
Two very good reasons to gamble.

Did you know an orgy is just like 52 card pickup?

Just stay away from the queens. They are always looking for some acehole.

That's enough glen, you're starting
to resemble that remark. You may need a trip to Nevada
more than me.
