You are obviously not speaking about the industry. It is what they can make of you that counts if you want the big bucks and top drawer gigs. Most of us could tour at will, but most of the time touring isn't that great.

Being on the road was a bore for me. There were only a few things that I could find to do. Chase women, practice, or spend my time looking for a decent meal. Finding a decent meal was the hardest.
