Thank you my lady.

I assure you it's not about the wait.
I'll wait forever for healthy children.

Far to many complications ( especially respiratory ) are related to narcotic use in labor.

Sometimes being an old RN is a curse.
There is such a thing as having too much information.

Cardiology said she is fit and healthy. Possibly too much amniotic fluid remained in the lungs. ( bullshit ... it was the narcotics and those lying bastards know it as well as I )
At any rate, she should be out to the nursery with my daughter ... today!!

Thanks for the vibes man. :D

Congrats on the new edition to the family Sans, one great thing about grandbaby's is you can spoil the heck out of them and then give them back!

Women should bear their children in pain the way God intended instead of subjecting their bodies and infants to those damn narcotics.

Damn doctors and their narcotics sales.
There is a time and a place.
Childbirth is neither.

Tru dat, George. Beautiful name BTW. That is a rocker name. Better get that guitar ready.

Uh, hmm, uh, yeah, tried that, didn't work. I wound up having two C-sections. So I'm like 5'1 and had two babies that were each 8 lbs. 6 ounces and 8lbs. 7 ounces, plus I have a narrow pelvis. If this were the 1800s my first kid would have killed me.

Yes, it obviously would not work for everyone and at times is a necessity.
Still, the whole sale use of narcotics in health care in and out of the hospital is a problem.
My wife required medications with our first born.
The other three she delivered without so much as a Tylenol.

The first is always hard. But then my friend, she's about the size of a stick and she went and spit all three of her kids out like it was nothing -- and she smoked and ate crap. Then there I was eating all healthy home cooked meals, no red meat, low stress, belly dancing and exercising, and I had this very difficult birth. I breastfed her for 16 months and then I find out my kid was born hearing impaired and at two developed asthma - maybe because I suffered from allergies, asthma and chronic bronchitis as a child. I formula fed my second child and she barely gets colds. Go figure.

Congratulations all around though!!!!

Just be glad they aren't still using scopolomine, sans, like they did in the 40's & 50's. I often wonder if they did that to me, at birth...making me the way I am...cuz I know for a FACT that it couldn't be MY fault!*

*scopolomine doesn't really affect pain. It affects memory. So the mother may experience the full affect of pain of childbirth, but never remember it, so she'll agree to have more kids...kinda cruel, no?
