When I was living in New Jersey in the early 80's I saw the Bill Blue Band at the Stanhope House. They had a young lead guitarist named Glenn Pavone. He was one of the most awesome guitaists I ever had the pleasure of listening to live. A few years later he joined forces with Pittsburgh area blues and soul singer Billy Price. He just passed away after a three year battle with cancer. Glenn was a remarkably humble person considering what a monster talent he was on guitar. There's a bunch of great blues artists in heaven who welcomed Glenn with open arms....
