My buddy once told me "that if it flies, drives or f**k, it's cheaper to rent it by the hour".

Now i just listen to my buddies' wife tell him he has to sell something else.

Nah, it is most certainly NOT cheaper to keep her. lol

[quote="neanderpaul"]A friend here has one he is almost ready to sell. It needs a couple of things. A seal or two. Not sure what else. Nothing major. I think he will ask $800. It's a 4 speed so not as good mpg as the 5 speed. He is getting 42 mpg. Another friend of mine built it from parts cars. No A.C. not pretty. lol.

My first love is my kids.

Up until my 30's I always said my first love was music, and that I had already lived a fulfilled life. If I died right then - I would be happy.

Then I had children and EVERYTHING changed so unconditionally that it made my head spin. I even stopped playing for a few years to focus on their lives.

As much as I enjoy gigging and all that comes with it....it's still hard to leave for a gig when my kids are tugging at my heart strings asking me to stay home.

You can focus on your marriage rather than someone else's. This isn't high school...grow up.

My son is almost 9 and has been coming to many of the gigs that are during the day, and at venues open to everyone (festivals/outdoor things...etc). He's been helping "roadie" as much as he can....and he's really enjoying it.

He's a big help too......and nice to have around.

It's a lot of fun for me too.
