Recording Equipment

Just starting out and we are just getting used to our PA system, all we need now is an 8-track to put our ideas down. And if possible, we'd like to ask for some condenser mics to go with it (if available), otherwise I suppose we could just get ourselves some cheap Nady mics. We are pretty much asking for anything with 4+ mic inputs. So if you have an offer, please reply to this. I would want 4 or more inputs so I could mic up an entire drum kit (using all condensers placed around the kit). Hey, it works doesn't it?
