I could have sworn I had a program to make Jewel case inserts with my photos but alas, I've not been able to find it.

I'd like to make a small run of demo CDs for an upcoming show.

Any suggestions ?

Information on how you guys go about such would be appreciated.

If you really want them to look nice, get a pack of inkjet photo paper and print them on a good inkjet printer. The photo paper comes in matte or glossy. The glossy looks better for inserts/labels.

Also, make sure that you let them dry completely before cutting or folding them - the glossy paper will smear it you don't.

I'm so totally computer inept.
It should be a simple thing to print a square picture 120mm x 120mm
But after two days of attempts ...
It's a good thing I work with my mind more than a computer.

Computers also frustrate me all the time. I've gotten some good printing done at Fedex Kinkos. If there's one nearby they might help you out...

I was trying to not farm this project out but it looks like I need professional help. ( no surprise there eh )
Thanks Bob, I should have some time off this week I can seek out options.
Steve-o has a program to burn our logo on the disk itself.
Onward through the fog.

Something I'll be doing soon too. I do have an old Epson Stylus 200 which prints on white Cd's. It doesn't work well with paper, never did. 90 Is right there are templates available in which you slot you image into them.

I think we all need CB Radio :D

I found a nice little program that burns CD Audio, Mp3's and a variety of formats. It also makes CD labels and inserts. The best part of it is....it's Free!

Sans, just go to discmakers.com. You can put your pictures right there on their templates, and they do a killer job of silkscreening logo's on disc.

Thanks Krul

We have a local company available as well. But untill we have a full CD recorded we just want to "stop gap" so our demo's are at least identified.
( better than a sharpie anyways )
Steve is going to light engrave a few CD's. I am going to do some simple photo inserts and burn the music on them.
Were working on two more songs to take to studio ASAP.
Then probably we will get some professionally printed CD's and inserts.
