GlenJ, I believe you are preaching to the choir. Just to say man and not meaning any disrespect, the person spending most of his efforts helping the poor in Haiti, doesn’t need a lesson about sticking to their values. Not from any of us. I would just prefer to extend the person a little more credit, that’s all. His moralty doesn't seem that fragile to me, as to change within a mere internet thread.

What’s said in the name of politeness towards the masses, has no chance of changing how he feels about it. In fact the opposite is true. By asking the question, it poses the possibility we could change how we feel about it if we lacked justification. We are not projecting selfishness on him, he is provoking charity within us “and how dare he do such an evil thing.”

I've had too many bad experiences, I suppose...that prolly has turned me a bit jaded & rough around the edges on some subjects, i'll be the first to admit, but I don't see me changing anytime soon, either.

I personally won't pay for this site ... it's more of a social hang for me ...

I don't look for muso's here ... all my work comes from my contacts that I've made over the years ... with people who have played with me and know what I can bring to the table.. I use FB a lot (most of my friends on FB are muso's) and to keep in touch and I get a lot of call-ups from there.

I'm no longer seeking musicians either Prevost82.
But I do like to be able to send a personal message to someone when the urge strikes me. And I intend to load a lot more music and pictures in the near future.

It's a good site IMO.
I'd like to see it continue to be such.
