The video and audio quality isn’t doing it justice. I bet standing in that room you could probably feel the sound. I always loved orchestrate stuff, especially strings, like cellos and woodwind, flutes for high end. Hey Black what’s the instrument you’re holding with the curved end in your pics? I never saw one of those before.

Thank you Mary, my name is Lester. So a bass flute, I have never heard of that before. When people mention the flute I usually assume high end and higher, flute, piccolo, fife, those sort of tones. I just saw a demo of one on YouTube, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=r1fffxjO2o8that’s got a cool sound a bit like a sax on the bottom, less bright perhaps with no reed flutter. Given the really warm tone, I’m surprised I haven’t heard it more often on it’s own.

My wife plays flute. I just left her the link in her email. She will enjoy this. Thanks.

Drums, this might want her to get a bass flute or maybe and alto. So you've been warned

Les, there is also the alto flute, contra bass and sub-contra. When I acquire my alto flute, I will feel complete as a flutist.I have no intention of getting a contra or sub-contra. But I am considering a Native-American
flute and Shakahatchi which is a Japanese flute.
