It is a good idea.
We ( NKF ) however have come to the conclusion that we should continue to focus on our present primary goals.
Meeting as many available gig dates as possible, and compete the recording of enough music for at least two CD's.

Our mission statement is pretty simple
SHOUT GOD"S PRAISE TILL OUR LUNGS BLEED!

But we have a plan, and I believe it's in our best interest to stick with it to fruition.

Something tells me, 'no'.
Travel your area of Texas and spread your message where you can, rather than play to those that are already at a place to hear the message.

I believe the first order of decision is whether or not God has called you to this opportunity. If He has - money, time, necessary commitment ... that all comes in a distant second. If it's His will for you to be there, to both give and get whatever He delivers, you want to be there and see what develops. You may say, Okay we'll do it, and before you blink an eye some other door opens which would not if you refused the call. Once you decide what His will is, then you can begin to delve into details which effect your daily life and other commitments. But even there, if you see what you do as ministry and God is calling, sacrifice of some kind is generally part of the call.

Well put drums.

I believe that our original goal / mission is what God intends for us.
The positive energy flow, the music we have been given, the protection and other blessings we have received as a band and as individuals all point toward this.
As do the distractions and temptations I have been subjected to since the onset of this project.
All tells me I am on the right path.
Unlike the flow of water, we cannot settle for the path of least resistance.
I have learned slowly and painfully that as a man, if the going is good / easy in a worldly since ... I am going the wrong way.

George Im not as biblically oriented as I once was, but to say that i know that is good for us!??!?!?

God could be giving you a left turn with this offer that would serve him better.

When my son and I used to race motorcycles I complained to many promoters about having church services at the races. MX races are for the most part an all day sunday event. So what happened I got volunteered. I found it kinda neat at first. I got to get on the soap box every sunday and say what I felt about the racing community thru my little services I mean I put a lot of time in it. Before we started racing I was in a couple of worship bands and gospel/bluegrass/rock bands. Anyway a minister friend came and heard what I said one time. He said Now John do you think God would say what you said today? I had to think long and hard and say no probably not. I was coming at this issue from my personal experiences. In the end he helped me to find appropriate material to pass on and also volunteered to help if say I had someone who wanted to be saved all the sudden.

I think you guys should pray and think long and hard on this, before you just say our mission is to do what we are doing. Cause we feel this is what God wants.

This could be a fork in the road that leads to great glory in your walk with the Lord.

Good Luck and Keep On Rockin.

The father says that you should play in the church.
(Yes, I prayed about it.)

The answer you receive might be different.
