Hello all, I'm wondering what people's opinions are on microphone headsets - what brands are good? Not looking to get TOP top of the line, something that sounds good and is moderately priced? It would be for drumming and singing. Thanks!

Not a singer myself. But I see so many talented vocalist whom work the dynamics of distance from the mic and by the way they hold it.
Would seem a static positioned mic would reduce that ability considerably.
Though a lot of professionals use them, often linked into a computer before it goes to the PA.
I have to wonder with the high end professional users dynamics, how much is gift, and how much is gadget.

Noticed on a KISS DVD that their drummer uses a standard mic / boom combo.
Drumming and singing has got to be tough glad all I have to worry about is my AX
