Im a dj/music producer and have a radio station www.unsignedradiolounge.com and music licensing company that we help unsigned artists get radio play, music placement, in-store streaming, and free promotions. There are no fees and its non-exclusive meaning you keep all the rights to your music. Just go to www.unsignedradiolounge.com, click on the promotions you would like to be a part of and submit. Look forward to help unsigned artists get to the next level.

Gee this doesn't sound like your asking for much... just:

The irrevocable world wide right, with no compensation to you, to use and permit others to use your name, voice, photograph, likeness and biographical material.

The royalty-free, perpetual, irrevocable, sublicenseable (through multiple tiers), non-exclusive right (including any moral rights) and license to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, translate, create derivative works from, distribute, communicate to the public, perform and display the files and information (in whole or in part) worldwide for the full term of any rights that may exist in such content. You also permit any visitor to the website to access, display, and view such content. Subject to the foregoing, you shall retain such any and all rights to the music, video, or other information that may exist.

well, I guess that's just about everything of value now isn't it?!

Hayden, you should set up your own web service for musicians to use as a reference for these wonderful "free" music promotion websites, sort of like an Angie's List or Consumer Reports of these websites. Maybe call it the Music Website Watchdog or something like that. Charge a small fee to join and every member gets a link to their own music website. There's so many of these sites popping up, it would be nice to have a central source that rates them and cuts through the B.S.

not a bad idea but after much research the choices would probably end up as only company A or B.

I say we all record some crap (just equal to the quality of the site) and start uploading it to em nonstop!
