Man it gets 75 "F" here in January.

It's raining like heck here George. You getting any yet? I wasn't going to say it gets 95 to 100 plus here 6 months out of the year. Uh Oh! I went and said it. Now someone from Arizona's going to tell me I don't know what hot is LMAO!

Well, that was one of the easiest house calls I ever made!

The A/C was working when I got there, but I noticed that the intake filter was all but totally clogged, so I got a new one. Then I sprayed the outside to kill all the wasps & I was done.

There must have been 15 wasp nests in the siding! They were those nasty yellow ones, but paper wasps, not the usual yellow jackets you find in the ground around here. They're longer & thinner. I never noticed them until about 15 yrs ago. They're much nicer than the yellow jackets, too!

I got another call from my CL ad, too. Hope something works out.

See I told you had had no worries Phil.

Looked like rain this morning ( smelled like it too ) but now the sun is doing it's Texas best to create steam.
Got a little less than 1/2 my place mowed before I hid a big pine root and broke the blade. The Snapper store is about 20 miles from here in Longview where Jeanette works. Perhaps I can convince her to pick me one up tomorrow.
If I go to Longview I'll end up in a gun or music store.

I'm so glad I don't hafta deal with that stuff! my "lawn" os only a cpl hundred square feet, thanks to the combination of shale instead of dirt, & too many trees!

I get a new 'lectric weed whacker every two yrs. That's all I ever use.

Everyone I know has mower blade issues from roots & rocks.

Yah know?
I was thinking the same thing. No need for Lawnmower. Would be nice however for a day of rain. Same here trees everywhere. Like em though.

philbymon wrote:How are you dealing with the heat?

I haven't left the house in days...it's like cabin fever.

My truck's got no A/C, so I won't drive it farther than a city block in this.

I think my house A/C's dyin'. The thermostat's been acting all floopy.

I think I'm going MAD(DER)!!!!

I think I'm gonna get up around 4 tonight & take out the canoe, just to get out of the house...I'll hafta get back before the cookin' starts, though...

What heat?

Oh wait... I think its supposed to be in the 90's today. I wont be going outside till after 10pm though.
