Is there a lack of something in our universe? I think so. I don't know how you guys feel? But for myself music IS IT.
Just seems a void, perhaps its me? Perfectly possible. :D

Thoughts....

I think there are still a lot of cool things waiting to be discovered in the universe Chippy we just haven't discovered them YET! Who knows there are probably a lot of good Shrooms left to be discovered. Just waiting for us to come along and pick them boil them down and make some tea. Then we can set under a nice cool shade tree drinking the tea and jamming. It would be nice indeed!

Well it was just a thought. :D
I do not need any shroom known to man, pity really, I hear so much about them, :D
Oh well hope Bob gets his fish.

My black raspberries are all dried out, & I'm really bummed about it.

'Shroom season's way over folks...oh wait...you mean THOSE 'shrooms...we don't get those here. Too far to the north, we be.

I got my peepers peeled for the parasols, though I've never tried 'em. The book says they taste a bit like hazelnuts, which I quite like. (prolly cuz their REAL name is Philberts!)

To damned hot to fish...or work...or even go swimmin'.

Yo, Chippy! What's with the John Denver reference?

Very hot and humid here. Been getting some rain nearly every day.
Unexpectedly has cooled down this evening. Kind of strange actually.
Going to have burgers on the grill here in about 20 minutes then out to the METALSHOP.
No music tonight though, rehearsal is tomorrow.
Jeanette and I will have a cold one and shoot a game or two of pool.
Got to play nurse tomorrow. :(

Played out our string of gigs and though we have a line on at least two more nothing scheduled yet.
Probably go back to studio prep mode tomorrow.

The world seems to be in a dry season. Some sort of weird downtime, if you will. We just have to sit around and wait for more intersting things to surface.

Everyone's probably going: what the hell is he talkin' about?

Stranger fruits are ripening, though I can clearly hear the trains jumping track in the distance, while the leaves are curling from the lack of sky-spittle, but all is not lost, for I have a job to do that I cannot.

This has all the signs of being a very 'interesting' day.

Personally, I prefer them a tadd more predictable...

Control is the only true illusion.

Let go and let GOD handle the details.

I'm gonna make a bumper sticker & put it on my toolbox, sans - it'll say "GOD is my HVAC guy!"

Dry?

It is sooooo soggy here. The bitey bugs love it. I am food. I feel like having a "T" shirt made that shows a family of mosquitoes at a table with a "Eat Here" caption below.

Anyone else seen the infamous OAT GNAT?

I got bites, bites and more bites.

(I got a couple of their dead bodies as well)

(The oat gnat is all blonde and looks like a gnat with 2 long antennae.)

(You know you have been bitten when you get a welt that rises up into a pimple that oozes clear liquid and actually burns. Later on it feels like there is a stinger still in the wound.)

(Hopefully this bastard bug is only new to this area.)

 Good one Phil.

Seriously Slacker I hear you man. I've not been able to see out my windows in the morning for over a month.

Condensation by the gallons.

I "borrowed" my wife's citronella candles of the porch to put out in the shop when I play in the evenings. Even with the fans going they really work well here.

Ah yes! That lower position on the food chain really sucks, don't it?

I wanna introduce the bugs to my sister-in-law. She would nag 'em & annoy 'em to the point that they'd prolly become vegetarians, just like she is.

Why don't the gnats' (WV state bird) population drop in the dry weather?

At least I don't hafta worry about mowing the lawn - what lawn?

I'm a lil tired of luggin' H2O out to the hot pepper plants I stuck in my flower garden, though.
