You might not have to do a long "tour". You might be able to book a few dates and only be away for a week or so.If you have a CD to push, you could at least make some inroads with the blues people over there.

A week would be too long. If you ever met my son you'd understand. He needs his father here. Europeans are going to have to buy my CD if I ever produce one...

I've been doing originals in my performances for nearly as long as I've been performing, save for a cpl band situations where my material just didn't fit into the program.

Many, many times, I've done ONLY originals, in my solo performances.

It's always worked for me.

I say go for it, bob. Do what you like, & you'll do it better than you would other stuff. That's been a tried & true saying for many ppl for centuries. Bring a bit of yourself into your job, & you do it best, whatever the job may be.
