I fondly remember the yo-yo days.

Now I'm livin' the yo-whoa-whoa days. There's only one yo...it never goes full circle with another yo...& then suddenly you look in the mirror, & you find yourself sayin' "WHOA! WHOA!"

I'm workin' on that, though. I have a plan, & I'm makin' it work, in spite of the lapse last week (which I don't even call a lapse cuz it wasn't really my fault).

Once the weight is gone down to where I want it, then it's time to lose the cigs...& then, once they're gone, I'm gonna try out for the UFC.

Come on in Philby, the water is warm.

If you like stick-masters, you'll enjoy it thoroughly.

Some even kinda dig it when they get a beating, as long as it's not too severe. (smartens you up as to where you are weak)

Cliff, next time keep your arms inside the bus and stfu.

Else we'll get stuck with riffraff like this again.

lol I don't dig V. WOOTEN, he smells like he's been drinking jazz to me.

I'd rather play with Jean Luc Ponty and look foolish.

But Cliff Burton was the real deal.

Newsted? Uhh, saw him live.. no Burton, but he has this thing.

And the new guy? He's ok, not as good as Newsted though imo.

See? It seems as if the next guy won't even be as good as the current one.

Cliff Burton was the real deal for sure. :(

New guy? Is Trujillo leaving?

Mary, I recently got tired of being fat. Sunday actually. I do this every few years. I got motivated by this series of pictures from 7 years ago. These are from my "let the good times roll" video. I was 32 and 175 lbs. I get up to 205 and get fed up! It will take 2 - 3 months but with diet I get there again. I've been yo-yoing since my mid twenties.

LOL...Hmmm, are those the same overalls?

You know the liberty overalls are NOT durable. I'm lucky to get 2 years out of them. Jeans will me last 5 at least. I did get 2 pairs of carharts last year. They show no signs of wear. But the libertys are way more comfortable.

No way Newstead even gets a sniff of Trujillos jock, I've seen Metallica and Newstead in particular 5 times, I've NEVER heard bass work that amazed me even once, and I'm the instruments biggest fan, and Metallica's second biggest fan.
I've heard Trujillo live twice and both shows, had me staring at him amazed at his skill.

Now neither could be Cliff on their best day, but thats not even a fair comparison. Trujillo, romps Newstead though, anyday.

I do not dispute his "looks", but gimme a real musician over some pretty boy any day.

His looks do not make his sound, just like his sound will not influence his looks.

Oh Yeah? I'm purdy and I can play. Hmm, I thought all the musicians on Bandmix were beautiful and could play. Not??? :)

Yeah Newstead wasn't all that.

I saw him at Monsters of Rock and he looked like he was having a hard time keeping up.
