General Music Chat

Well...last night was the first night back with my old band (Crowfeather) and it looks like all the old issues are put to rest. The new bass player and drummer are absolutely fantastic and Shawn and I still get to be the writing team as usual. Jay suprised me with a bunch of really good clean vocals as well as his trademark scream/growl combinations. We nailed through 8 songs (Shawn and I have to teach the new guys the other songs yet) and they were tight as hell.

Anyway...I'll put some more of our stuff on my page here when I get a chance later. And as we record the newer stuff, I'll be sure to put them up for review as well. Shawn and I played "Castle Tall", "Circling Carrion", and "Agenda Be Thy Name" for the guys and they literally crapped themselves, so things are lookin' pretty damn good for a change...

Thanks a TON guys! Really lookin' forward to rollin' with it. Not gonna set the world on fire or anything, but I'm still proud of what we do as a group (especially myself, Shawn, and Jay). And something that we learned is that if you take either myself, Shawn, or Jay out of the picture...the band just doesn't work the same or have the same abilities/sound.

EDIT: You can all get some of our stylish shirts and other merch as well. The shirt I'm wearing in the pic is one of them, but I wore it playing with another band on a national tour show back in February just to help promote Crowfeather. Now that's DAMN good business work...
