I'm an intermediate guitar player who likes to jam.

I'm still learning a lot and can play sloppy from time to time.

I like to record myself on video so i can remember interesting ideas, and also figure out what I did.

I posted a couple of the sessions on youtube.

Check out my profile and let me know what you think.

You're fine.
Keep plugging away.

Practice with a metronome when it's practice time.

And never say you suck. Leave that for other a-holes to say.
Just know your limits, work on expanding them.

Question is: Do you like to play? Have a passion for it? Always desire to learn more?

If you can answer those positively, then I think you know the answer. I don't need to submit a vote for you bro.

If your no psychotic enough to believe in yourself like the rest of us you probably don't belong here.

No matter how good you get. No matter how famous. There will always be people whom think you suck.

If that bothers you ... quit.

If not ... welcome to BandMix 8)

I went to your profile. It said "no audio."

That sucks.

I dunno if you suck or not, but I think your profile sucks without audio, especially after you invited me to check you out.

I'm hopin' that it's just a glitch in the system, & that it'll be back up when I check in again, later.

Some 'tude' is necessary to be able to continue in any endeavor. If you're too wimpy, no one will take you seriously, no matter what you're doing. You don't hafta be 'the best' at anything you do. You do have to have the know-how to do the job at hand, & the balls to say that you can. Without that, you may as well stay in bed with your head under the covers like a little kid afraid of the toe monster under the bed.

Good luck. Put your stuff back up. Don't be askeered.

Man, you're just starting out. You've got to start somewhere. Your videos are a good lesson for YOU. I wouldn't post them on something like Bandmix until you've advanced a little more. You do some nice licks here and there. Absolutely do NOT sell your guitar YET. Concentrate on the good licks, add them to your repertoire, and get rid of the fluff. You're capable of being a fine guitarist. Keep practicing and recording and study yourself. If you are determined you'll get there. If you want to play stronger lead learn from the masters. Take your favorite guitarists and see if you can copy some of their signature licks. Being a blues guy I'm biased but it doesn't hurt to learn from people like Stevie Ray Vaughan, Freddie King, Eric Clapton. Some of the very best rock guitarists cut their teeth on the blues masters. Good luck...

Ditto. A metronome would work, but decent backing tracks might help as well. Here is a site with some Blues backing tracks that you can jam along with:
