Anyone out there know of any good shops or repairmen in the Seattle area that work on Amps? I have a 150 watt Peavey Studio Pro that needs work.

Any suggestions would be helpful!

Too bad you aren't near me, man. I have a guy in VA that works on my Peavey stuff. He's great, & fairly quick, too! Not too expensive, either.

Yeah, I like road trips, but that would be a SERIOUS road trip! I did take a bus from Ft. Lee Virginia to Seattle and back....never again!

You are right, a good one is like gold....I am finding that out real quick!

I'm in the same boat. My Classic 30 isn't working, and needs to go into the shop.

Have you tried contact cleaner or Deoxit on the bad channels? I recently broght an old Crate guitar amp back to life just by cleaning all of the pots and jacks.

Good news! I took my amp in to the repair place and both inputs needed to be soldered again. Should be able to pick it up today. Thanks for your help 90.

Another question, do they make universal foot switches for amps or do I have to find the original Peavey footswitch?

If it's a TRS footswitch, any one will probably work, but if you want the actual Peavey FS, you could try asking here:

Thanks again 90. I started a thread on that site to see if anyone had one laying around. If not I will just buy whatever I can get my hands on, as I believe it is a TRS.
