Well, at least you're not crawling away with your tail between your legs, whining because we hurt your poor widdle feewings...like most...

Aw shucks. Eberywon hurts my poor widdle feewings :) But I have thick skin. I even like the guys that don't like me. Every one here is OK in my book.

I used a Canon A620 for my videos. I thought the video quality was OK, but the damned thing has a crackly sound recorder and lousy tone range. But I guess it was good enough to make a couple of videos. The first was a bad trial vid test that some liked regardless of the screw ups. I thought the second was OK. But the audio was even worse on that one.

So I bought a JVC wide screen standard def video cam. Didn't care at all for the close up vids it made. But the sound is really good, and outside videos are great.

So I bought a Canon Vixea HF S100. That has real good video, but I haven't found an editing program yet. Most of the ones that work well are priced higher than Gold. I want to add titles and crop the startups and ends of the videos.

So much for the bike work. Now that I took care of the battery problem, I find that the carbs got clogged up. I used Stabil last fall. A lot of good that did. After grinding the battery down trying it to just cough, I went out yesterday and found that my Walmart Schumacher race driven technology battery charger isn't consumer driven. It blew up while doing NOTHING.
I plugged it in an got a big fat "0" on the meter. It was telling me I had a bad battery. I knew that. But how did it know that? It wasn't even hooked up to the battery. $$$$$$$$ down the drain. Now when I went to see if they had any other chargers, I saw the reviews on that piece of crap. Guess I wasn't the only fish that bit on it. And others had the same results.

It just never ends.

The Pentax is here!

UPS delivered it this morning, I took it out for a test drive 15 minutes later. Got about a dozen nice shots out of almost 100 attempts. Most came out good, but as usual only a few really look good.

I'm in the process of posting a few on flickr now, should have them ready in about a half hour or so, should be the first 3 or 4 on the page. Can't wait to get my K mount lenses, which I forgot in Texas, and see how well it does as a manual focus telephoto rig.
