I stayed up browsing the Pentax forums till 2AM, trying to pick up some info about how to use the K-x DSLR I just ordered, if it ever gets here.

I stopped in to the open mic last night. I was gonna leave when a whole bunch of ppl came in, & the host asked me to play another set. So I did, & when I was done this cute lil blond followed me outside, when I went for a smoke. I noticed her bf went & sat next to my wife. I was beginning to think something a lil freaky-deaky was going on, when she stepped in real close to me, & all but begged me to....to...to...








































...to come & host an open mic at the bar she works at.

Problem is, I don't have any equipment, & I'm broke all the time. LOL

When I finished my smoke & went back in, my wife told me that whiile the blond was outside "working me over," as she put it, the bf was sitting next to her, trying to get her to influence me to host it, as well.

It seemed a little surreal, but they bought us three rounds. They went & sat nearby, but kept coming back to tell me how much they enjoyed my set. It actually got a little uncomfortable after a bit. She had an awfully cute little asian friend, too, who came over several times to tell me similar stuff.

I've been to the place where she works, & it's awfully small, but it;s getting pretty damned popular around here, lately.

Now that Ian has a better shift, I do't have to watch Jace so often, so I'll prolly do it, since it's on a Fri night, if Dddonnie lets me borrow his PA again. i'm gonna hafta buckle down & get my own sh*t, soon. There's $ to be made around here in the summertime.

If your stuff arrives late don't blame UPS.
I buy a lot of sports related equipment online.
Anytime I buy from MIDWAY USA I have to be careful not to trip over it on my way out the door.
They do their dead level best to ship same day ... and boom ... it's on my porch.
If it take you a week to get you stuff the shipper probably has their thumb in their butts.
