I really love this place. And there isn't a single musician on here that I didn't like. Sure, we all get into it once in a while, but by the next post we're friends again. You can't find a lot of forums like this one. The political threads are fun, the music discussions are fun... just a great place to be. Good musicians and posts that I really hate to leave.

But everything in season. for me it's time to leave. I have motorcycles to get ready for a summer of hard riding and a lot of other time consuming projects to do. I really need to get my video stuff set up, and all that crap.

So it is time to go. goodbye, farewell, so long, audios.

Did I tell you I got a predeclined credit card in the mail today. Things must be getting tough.

Tried to get a job today,,, So I went down to Mexico to apply for a job listed in the local paper, down there... Things must be getting tough, They told me no, the job was being held for the hundreds of thousands of Mexican refugees that would be fleeing the new socialist system to the north.

Slacker, I didn't know you put up those vids of your finger picking style.
I thought they were GREAT. Only thing that bothers me is the lack of facial view. How can we be sure you didn't pirate them from Sean?

Actually Bad Cop No Donut was the name of the vid. It was just a jam on "Don't think twice it's alright" to test my Canon for the first time on it's video quality . (Still camera with vid as an extra) I was going to delete it because at one point I started to stop, then I thought I would just keep going since I could delete it. But before I deleted it another picker talked me out of it. Then I gave it to a couple of guys that wanted it and it ended up on Youtube. Now I just mentally gloss over the parts where I screwed it up.

A friend of mine bought that shirt for me at a Sturgis Bike rally. I was pretty much intoxicated from sitting in the sun all day drinking beer and watching the main st circus. When I put the shirt on and headed for a bathroom I walked around the corner into a gaggle of cops just getting ready for patrol duty. About 7 of them. Only one thought it was funny. I was a mite concerned at the time. It's still one of my favorite shirts.


Oh yeah. I'm leaving BandMix again. That damned bike won't run. I put Stabil in the carbs when I put it away, but it didn't help. When I put it up the batt was dead. So now I think I'll put one of my other bikes in working order.

So as much as I enjoy it here, my time is short. I'll be leaving Bandmix again. Duty calls.

What Canon are you using? I think you posted something about that in another thread but I don't remember...I've slept since then...I just ordered a Pentax K-x, got lucky and won enough money to get a good DSLR, yeah I was gambling, and ordered the Pentax so I could still use all my existing lenses, but only in manual mode. That won't be a problem, I've used manual focus for around 30 years. Also going to start doing some professional work with a friend I got together with recently, and a good SLR was necessary for that.

Too bad Minolta quit making cameras, I have better lenses for those...I'll have to look around for a good 200-300mm for the Pentax, would love a 500mm, otherwise I'm fixed up. 28mm, 50mm and 135mm plus a 2x convertor, should handle anything but long distance bird shots. Should have the new one by mid week, can't wait.
