If you're taking minors into your business venture with the bar, you're showing the bar that you have zero respect for their existence, because they can be shut down if they get caught with a minor in there, in my state, even if it's only once.
That's about the stupidest thing a band can do, imho. Sorry to disagree, Zip, but that's how I see it.
Let word get around that you got a bar busted over something as dumb as wanting to have a minor play in your band, & you won't be playing any more bars, EVER, around here. Word gets around about that kind of sh*t.
I would NEVER take chances with someone else's ability to do business. My momma & daddy would rise up from their graves & kick my ass into infinity if I did something so disrespectful.
Good point Phil. Age is irrelevant where we play so I don't even take it into consideration.
