From the very Idea that you will stand around instead of standing up against a president that is not upholding the laws of America.

Sorry you voted for MCcain, not many choices huh?
Typical politician, no spine,no real solutions, afraid to upset any contributors, apologetic, and basically to weak to make decisions about the local boy scout troop. Even now if he had some hair we wouldn't be able to know wich way he parts it.

Mistermikev , if you want to sit on the sideline while this president is committing genocide in this country through lack of enforcement of the federal laws on the books ,killing of American citizens because of such lack of enforcement ,ON OUR OWN SOIL BY FOREIGN NATIONALS,,,then I have no choice but to interpret that as support for this administration and this shameful excuse for a president. The stuff hasn't even begun to hit the fan. SARAH PALLIN IS WAY TO LIBERAL ,Philby is gonna wish she was president compared to what may come down the line.

Stand Up Or get run over. obama cash will run out, when you need a job and you come to me,,,,LOL

sit on the sidelines... wait a minute... who did you VOTE for?

what have you done that would suggest you are less 'on the sidelines' than me?

I have mentioned my vote three times now, and you've not mentioned your once... so... I'm guessing you didn't vote?

how exactly are you standing up against this president? by writing stuff on a band website?

committing genocide by lack of enforcement? read yourself. do you honestly believe you are even changing minds by coming off so hysterical?
let me help your cause: sometimes when you want to make a good point you agree with the offense on a minor point... this helps strengthen your point. For instance, you say "well obama is good on this, but lacks on this".

As opposed to just tossing out wild accusations that are hard to swallow, even for people who are on your side.

now, if we take your argument that he's committing genocide, and really look at it: what about the hundreds of americans killed by americans? He's letting that happen too. Him and every president that ever took office. You don't honestly think that he is going after americans who commit murder more so than foreigners do you? where is your proof?
I don't even like the guy but hearing you makes me want to support him.

furthermore, not everyone who crosses the border is a murderer. So this is a weak point. I don't like murder, but this argument isn't about murder. We all agree we should not murder. Lets not get distracted, the issue is not even whether the border should be secured. I agree on that too. The issue is, as I recall, is the 1070 law, and whether it's right or not. One could easily make the argument that it will hamper efforts to deport illegals because now you have ice working against you for real.

Please consider, that even if every word of the law was right... the way it was presented, the way it wasn't explained, the very fact that so many people are angry about it means it was not delivered in an intelligent manor. These angry people aren't the enemy.
we need to sell it to them... not just say "well it's right so your opinion doesn't count".

some things I have learned that I don't like about the law: the fact that giving an illegal a ride somewhere - knowing or not - is now a crime.
I should not be forced to ask a group of friends for their papers... and I work at a place were 80% of the people are french, british, bulgarian or indian, so on any given lunch break... if one of them has forgotten
to get their papers in order... I can be charged with a crime.

btw, I feel compelled to add that you shouldn't take any of my comments personally. tho we may disagree, I have no reason to dislike you for your opinion. I reserve the right to call you a poopy head, but it won't mean anything to me beyond this thread.

1.the same idiot you were left with.
2.cash to the tea party and active participation in what will come.
3. thats what you are doing also.
4. Hysterical, now your true progressive ideas are showing.Murder at any level is wrong, but when it is allowed into the country illegaly, are you saying you approve. Allready you have fallen into the typical liberal pattern of calling names.
6. Sorry if you only think the number of people on my side equals the number of toes you have. Thanx for the info.
7. your furthemore once again shows that you have no respect for the law.Yes, not everyone that breaks the ICE laws is a murderer, I agree, but, THEY STILL BROKE THE LAW .
8. the hypothetical argument you present is one in a trillion and if you had read the AZ law carefully you would have seen that there are protections for law abiding Americans . Tell your lawyer friend to learn to read better and to trust that american law is built on precedent not on conjecture. You can also tell him I think he is a total idiot and I wouldn't send him down to court to pay off my parking ticket. Sorry ,,, couldn't resist.
9.I take no offense at you calling me a "poopy head" My 2 year old daughter called me that all time, and she thought it was funny. Thank God she grew up and is no longer a liberal name caller.
Sorry man ,, you don't have a leg to stand on,twist it turn it , stomp on it,the law is the law and I am not even concerned with AZ , This only points out FEDERAL LAWS are being selectivly enforced. THAT IS ANARCHY.
I sure as hell hope you don't tell me that is OK!

#4... I think you've misunderstood. I can't believe you would ever think I'd be approving of murder so I guess we're not having a serious conversation.
For the record I'm saying that being here illegally doesn't make the crime of murder worse. Stopping folks from being here illegally won't stop murder. I'm saying the two are not connected so why talk about murder when the subject at hand is immigration. I'll tell you why... cause if you drop that subject you really don't have much of a point.

putting a penny on a railroad track is illegal. rolling through a stop sign is illegal. accidentally filing your taxes wrong is illegal. littering is illegal.
all of these things have differing degrees of legality and morality.

while I don't want to see folks coming here illegally I recognize that if that's the worst thing you can say about a person that's not so bad.

I'm sure even you have done something illegal that the world could decide to persecute you for... but if you are an otherwise decent human... what would be the gain?

It's simple... I'd want the same for myself:
If someone comes here illegally and is caught steeling... no mercy. If someone comes here illegally and otherwise is a productive person... mercy.

#8 why take shots at my 'legal friend'. he is also not the subject here but when it comes time for an interpretation I'll hear him louder than I'll hear you because not only does he HAVE an education (at all) but it is in law, and that is a respectable area of study.

For the record I didn't call you a poopy head, just saying I reserve that right should a need arise.

#6 I'm sure there are plenty of people on your side. and how many are on one side or the other is not really important to me: I know what I think is right.

4. Yes It does make it more wrong because if the foreign national was not in this country illegally in the first place ,the murder would not have been committed in the first place.
8. take shots at your legal friend, I have to doubt he even read the AZ law or either that he is proof of the weakness of our educational system.
6.yes you are 100% correct about you right to your opinion, but don't don't confuse the issue of a gov't that is not upholding American law.Not protecting American lives on American soil with something as silly as putting pennies on a rail road track.
Why are you making some light humor,of a very serious situation that goes way beyond the illegal issue, and then you have the liberal balls to distract from the main issue and call me "hysterical"
I don't think so, I can't ,not call you out on the fact that you are either very liberal or you have been led to believe these lies are not that important!

#4 that is a very weak argument. the foreign natl would have to have been first discovered and processed but then let back in the country for that to even make sense.
If you are saying that we should have a concrete border to have kept this foreign natl out in the first place then then this has nothing to do with the sb1070 argument. Either way it is an irrelevant point to the central issue.

----------------------------------------------------------
3. "Smuggling of human beings" means the transportation, procurement
37 of transportation or use of property or real property by a person or an
38 entity that knows or has reason to know that the person or persons
39 transported or to be transported are not United States citizens, permanent
40 resident aliens or persons otherwise lawfully in this state or have attempted
41 to enter, entered or remained in the United States in violation of law.
-----------------------------------------------------------

just thought I'd post that for you. I don't think you need to be a lawyer to understand it.

For the record my lawyer friend has yet to give me his specific interpretation... It is my interpretation that you are wrestling with and if you care to try and dismiss that with dim wit then that's fine.
The words written above could be interpreted to mean that if someone determines that I 'should have known' there was potential for one of my coworkers to have a lapse in their green card then I should be prosecuted for human smuggling. It is probably not even the laws intent, but we probably don't want to assume it couldn't be used that way, lest we'll have to SELECTIVELY ENFORCE IT.

I wasn't making light of anything... simply crossing an intellectual border by and of itself is not a crime that carries any moral weight... at least not with me.
IE If you cross that border and happen to be a philanthropist who does nothing but good for americans then it is hardly a crime worth throwing you out of our country for is it?

again, if your point is that the pres of us is not prosecuting murderers then i can get behind you. If you point is he is not prosecuting illegals... I'm with ya but I'm not all that concerned about it as if we address the root of the problem (close the border) it doesn't pose that much of a problem by itself (at least not one I want all my taxes going towards).

Exactly mistermike. thankyou for being very clear on your position.
If the law of the country was being enforced AZ would not have been put in this position to begin with. It is not, because of the president ,the head of ICE and anyone else that wants to legalise this large voting block of foreign nationals. I don't see where you can rationalise the fact that if they weren't here to begin with they would still be commiting murders on American soil. these are not allways peaceful people enduring hardship, and when I here about an American child being slaughtered in an Ice cream shop by a FOREIGN NATIONAL ,,, why put up with that . Now obama stated last week that non legal immigrants will be afraid to go out for an ice cream.

Smuggling of etc,,,,that is the way it reads do you have a problem with that, why?
Ask your lawyer friend how many times the"I DIDN'T KNOW DEFENSE HAS WORKED IN ANY CRIMINAL PROCEDING" NOT MANY. [Ask HAYDEN]
If you weren't vigilant and are driving around with ILLEGALS and caught,,,I hate to say it, but YOU SHOULD GO TO JAIL.

Then you bring up morality and extreme hypothetical situations. I don't care how much good a philantropist is going to do ,If the first thing he does is break law, that makes him a BAD guy, JAIL, OR EXPULSION.

And yes that is the point the LAW OF THE LAND is not being enforced.Starting at the highest office in OUR country.

Illegals not being able to vote and being encouraged to vote is simply another violation of the American citizens trust. To put that aside, I heard that they do not vote Democratic for the most part. Or even vote for that matter, for fear of exposing themselves.

I know. here comes the blast.... I heard it on the radio from information taken in a poll. Just putting out here what I heard, not what I have been able to verify. That's Craigs job. :D

Besides, they do not NEED illegal votes. There are more than enough dead people voting multiple times to do the job. So given that the poll or the information is correct, then what is the real reason for the support to let them keep sneaking into the country? When there are NO jobs whatsoever for them.

150,000 a month sneaking across the border just to pick fruit and other crops? Just how many farms all lumped together into one big farm could even give jobs to one months influx of illegals? If they picked one apple each could you employ that many? If so, for how many months? If they each worked 5 minutes on every factory job in America, how long would it take to put to work only one whole months infiltration? Let alone 12 months worth. Let alone the millions already here supposedly filling those jobs.

There is another reason that they are not letting you in on. Blaming Republicans for wanting them for cheap labor or the Dems wanting them for votes is simply a political ploy for us to argue about amongst ourselves as to distract us from the no good that they are really up to.

The taking and filling "Jobs that no Americans want" is simply another diversion to keep our little brains distracted so we look no further for the real reason.

Meanwhile they stay on task with their hidden agenda. Anyone have an idea what that is? Anyone ever considered that the fodder they feed us to argue about is simply a diversion while they stay on task in secret?

Everyone should be aware by now that these people do nothing but divert our attentions to petty crap while they scheme behind closed doors in the dead of night.

Just something for you to ponder instead of the crap that they want you thinking about.

Have any of you taken the time to read the 19 pages of the AZ law? Or are you just one of the protesters throwing bottles at AZ cops. I DID.

All this law did was restate the the FEDERAL LAWS that are already laws.
All this law did was reinforce the resolve to follow the federal laws .
All this law did was say it is against the law to break the law.

On a sad note two AZ troopers were gunned down and killed today.

John MORTON ,the head of Immigration Customs Enforcement came out out today and said they may refuse to process AZ illegals. In other words he may not enforce the very laws that he is charged to uphold, but he still collects a very nice pay check from your hard earned tax dollars . And your not angry.

How long would you keep your jobs if you didn't do what was required.

YOU SHOULD BE MAD AS HELL.!

I'm mad as hell that a no-nothing little twerp like yourself is still squandering bandwidth with your inane ramblings! Every time you get the urge to bore the rest of us with your sh*t, try playing your guitar instead, because you could sure use the practice slow hand!

giving them a green card doesn't give them the right to vote... and we aren't even talking about giving them a green card... just saying that as long as they don't commit a serious crime we won't bother with them. Let me stop you before you go ahead and suggest something as stupid as the idea that illegals vote.

this last statement isn't even worth responding to except to say that it isn't worth responding to.

GLENJ wrote:Smuggling of etc,,,,that is the way it reads do you have a problem with that, why?

at first you said there was something in the law to prevent this... now you are saying you are ok with it? that's odd.
so you are saying that you feel that if I go out to lunch with my coworkers and drive and we get pulled over and one of them forgot to get his green card paperwork renewed I should be charged with a felony? Really? I need to ask each and every person I give a ride to in my car for their papers? That seems silly.

GLENJ wrote:I don't care how much good a philantropist is going to do ,If the first thing he does is break law, that makes him a BAD guy, JAIL, OR EXPULSION.

so, if we can find you guilty of breaking any law then you are a bad guy?
I'll be listening for that. Oh, but I'm sure you aren't like THEM at all. You probably don't break ANY laws ever.

Green card holders don't vote why the heck you bringing that up PROGRESSIVE OBFUSCATION and diversion. That's a great tactic.

It may not be worth responding to, but,, You Did.

Your next response just shows you didn't read the law carefully and I don't want to keep letting you bash your head on the wall

Damn right, If I break the law I am a bad guy. Unfortunately I haven't had a parking ticket in 38 years so that blows another one of your hypothetical scenarios out of the water. As for you being bored I agree.
