So... why the galaxy?

...but especially, why the Big Country tattoo?

Big Country the band, right?

They only had one top-40 song in America didn't they? But I know they actually had a fairly long career in total. I always thought they were cool, but... WHY A TATTOO OF THAT BAND????

I had none for DECADES, and then I committed tattooing's cardinal sin, and got one with a girl's name on it! (Married her afterward - LOL)

Have you ever thought about getting one? Or just not for you?

I've got enough scars to make up the difference.

Nope no tats.

No way , Craig, then I could never be buried in a sacred Jewish cemetary.

Well, brother, while it is TRUE that Jewish law forbids decorative tattoos, it is, however, a common MYTH, that this precludes someone from being buried in a Jewish Cemetary.

Normal burial rites apply.... even to INKED JEWS!

I'm clean. I thought about getting a few, but I know I would just get tired of looking at the same picture on my body everyday. There's a couple I thought about getting before, but I would have hated having them now. Anyways, tats tend to blur and turn blue with time.

My dad has a sailing ship on his shoulder.
He has told me many times that it was one of the worst mistakes he ever made and still regrets it after all these years.

The galaxy tat should be self-evident, I'm a big science buff, especially astronomy and paleontology.

Big Country is one of my favorite bands. They're from Scotland, where my ancestors were from. Stuart's story is a heartbreaker, tragic.

It was. But you gotta ask to be sure.

Had a feeling, it was because you had relatives or some connection to Scotland.

Not aware of his personal history.

Gonna have to go check it out now. You have piqued my interest.

:-)
