Keeping it.
I find it easy to "Hide" the stuff I don't want to deal with ("Farmville", I am looking at you, and same goes for "Mafia Wars"). And it's easy to "unfriend" people who are annoying. I've only had to do it once, but hey - you gotta prune your garden, ya know?
What I like is the ease of keeping family and friends updated with photos. I can just upload photos and they tell a story, and people can stay informed. It's also moderately cool for staying informed as a fan of certain bands. Like, I got pre-sale tickets to Goo Goo Dolls because of the way they use Facebook. Very cool.
I think the thing Facebook does wrong is that it doesn't make it easy to figure out how to secure stuff and turn stuff off. It's not closed down by default. It's not in it's most secure state when you first sign up and there's no page or tab labeled "How to Secure and Configure Facebook". So you have to search the internet to figure out how to do simple stuff like turn off the chat... When in reality, that stuff should be really easy to do.
