I got nothing but respect for you JW...always have.

You see, growing up a grew up in the Hardcore Punk culture. A lot of kids just trying to have fun at shows would get sometimes beaten with bats and stabbed. Many shows had to just stop because of the riots that would break out. This was the same at Metal shows too, but the longhairs could hold these down usually.

After having friends harrassed, and beat up, it really put I guess what you could call a mechanism that just fires off when it rears its ugly head. Like having a cockroach appear in your kitchen. I hate violence with a passion too, and the two groups(nazis) go hand in hand. If those guys wanted to just stop being bullies, then it wouldn't offend me. They have no right to trespass on anyone's safety.

As a kid I would often talk to some 1%ers and they were always cool. But those guys never went around looking for different races to smash up. It's scary to talk about, but those guys would only be a problem if you got in their way.

We all walk different paths to understand each others way of thinking. So I hope what I've said this time will give you guys a little understanding about me on this topic. I'm still growing, and I have a lot to learn about ignoring this monster. This was kind of one of life's little unexpected tests that came at me.

K, thanks for giving me a better understanding of where you were coming from. Some times we get bits and pieces of things and odnt understand what its about.

I respect you also as a musician from the chops you posted, but I guess now even more from a human side.

This whole thread has really made me think about situations I have been in thru the years as far as music. Last year I did some wierd guitar stuff for these rappers on a couple of recordings. They loved it, it was fun and we all got a kick out of it. But when I made mention that I would love to do it live with them, they kinda bowed up on me. They didnt want me to coem to the shows or anything, and basically they said we cant protect you and it might be bad for our image. Like some said on here, for me music is colorless or so I thought. I love to create and perform it, doesnt matter who its with. But as I alluded to sometimes the genre descriminates without the player even realizing what is happening. Thats me I try to face everything with a positive outlook. I cant say that this morning that I hate anyone, well maybe that big ass insurance bill I just got or my legal bills at the moment, but no I dont really hate those jsut dislike paying them.

Anyway K, I wish you well and once again thanks for opening this subject up for me. Im being selfish here cause I know as a human I have a long long way to go, and maybe discussions like this will somehow help me along the way. As a side note K, my last gf was Indian. Her grandfather was 100% Cherokee, I think I spelled that right.
