foa... thanks a bunch for the detailed analysis Andragon... I appreciate it.

Andragon wrote:1. Get a digital cam: no less than 6.1MP.

I use a 10.1mp camera... but I have to reduce quality on the video down to a point where folks can actually download it (10m range).

Andragon wrote:2. It's good that you used a separate mic for your commentary, but I think your rig was mic'ed. Record your audio directly into your computer.

I have to respectfully disagree with you there... I don't think going direct ever sounds as good as a live mic. I can see recording both a direct signal and a miced signal and mixing them tho.
Again... no matter how nice my original recording turns out... I end up reducing the resolution quite a bit so that folks can download it w/o waiting all day.
You have touched on something tho... perhaps I should do a hifi and a lofi version of all new vids so that the folks who have decent bandwidth can download the hifi version.

def going to check out gearmandude... thanks again!

Nice work on the pedal man. I'd agree with Phil - work up a little bit of a more professional pitch and get rid of the feedback and you have a good product.

Might I suggest also getting someone else to run your camera? Reason I bring it up is it would be cool to have some shots of actually you playing some riffs with your amps behind you - some face time as the rep talking about it - and then switch back to the pedal view when you're demoing the adjustments and layout of the pedal. Other than that - yeah man great work constructing the pedal.

Thanks, yes I like it a lot.
This is the one Shredd6 helped me obtain tubes for.

nice. is that tube rectified? does it have tube driven reverb or solid state?

oops, hit post too fast...
I've changed amps 3 times in the last 8 months...
I have two setups but the one I use w my pedals I just haven't been able to get her dialed in the way I like. I started with a crate v18 - great sounding amp for only $150! I had replaced the tubes and put a celestion in it... but it only had one channel and no fx send ret.
traded a cab I had and a pedal and a few bux and got a peavey classic 30 - what a nice amp.
had to sell it cause it just didn't take certain pedals well...
so I traded a pedal and the crate v18 for a vintage club 5212... thing is a monster!
This amp takes pedals well but the drive channel sux and the reverb is awful.
I've come to the realization that the amp I want is a 65 deluxe reissue, but no fx send ret on any of the reissue amps so...
seems all the amps w the features I like (egnater rebel 30, blues deluxe, sonic 50) are great amps but just don't have the sound I want, and the ones with the sound I want... don't have the features!
would love a matchless, and they have the features and sound... but they are big money! just can't win.
anywho, hope you enjoy your amp.
