Seems to happen overnight. But I went from a bar band to a concert gig what seems to be overnight. A guy calls me on a Wednesday. By Thursday night Im in a 6 hour practice learning an hour of originals. By Friday night Im on stage playing in front of Im told over six hundred people in a club with a contract waiting off the stage if I cut the mustard. Well I jump at the chance. I have about 5 opening dates with the Days Of The New in a small midwest tour. Im still asking why me? Small as it may seem to some. Its what Ive worked hard for. And even has small as it is. It shows some sort of pay off. I feel pretty good at 50.
