As many of the regular Forum members are aware I utilise many of Carvins product.

I have in the past bad mouthed their customer service due to a bad experience I had with their employees.

I recently sent an E-mail request for some more informationon some of their products and proper application of same.
Before I could even click back into the music project I was working on my phone rang. The gent from Carvin was more than helpfull, even asking questions about my whole rig so that he could help me understand the applications of the equipment I was inquiring about.
I wont retract what I'd said before.
I will say though not all their people seem to be Cali dope heads.
Bully for Carvin. above and beyond the call of retail.

amazing how much more customer friendly a company can become when it becomes hard to make a buck...
whatever the reason, at least they're doing what they should have already been doing!

SP, most of the customer service outfits have innumereable "managers." in that the agents (clerks) will cover for one whenever they're asked for. It's very rare to actually get a manager when you ask for one in a customer service dept.

Even when dealing with a co. in writing, you're not apt to contact anyone of real importance, these days, but you have a bigger chance doing that than you ever would in a customer service dept call center.
