Has anyone paid for a manager? Or had any luck with apps?

I'm wondering if you all have found hiring a manager to be worthwhile to grow your career as a musician? Has anyone tried and had luck with any management apps?
I'm thinking about putting together some management software that could act as a manager for a musician just starting out. I put together a quick survey to get at what is helpful in current apps and what may be helpful in new developments. I would really appreciate anyone who feels inclined to fill out the survey!
