no twitter, no facebook, no myspace...
No social media, it's a lie and people keep updating their status to "I'm in the bathroom".

From Facebook:
.
My Love,
- if you are smiling, send me your smiles.
- if you are sleeping, send me your dreams.
- if you are crying, send me your tears.
- I love you.
.
Annnnnd . . . . the reply:
I am in the toilet; what do I send?

A guy at the OM last night was talking about some internet radio service that you can submit your music to and eventually (if your song gets picked) get your song(s) on a Sirius radio station.
I just wonder these days, with the umpteen satellite radio stations and internet radio stations, how many have more than a few listeners?
Do you get royalties from BMI/ASCAP for songs played on internet radio?

I used to wonder the same thing, bro. The answer is "yes". Pandora and Jango are bigger than any land-based radio station you could name. Get onboard or swim for the life boat.
Royalties come from Sound Exchange for internet play.

I've heard its real tough to get your songs on Pandora. Involved process.
Not familiar with Sound Exchange. If my tunes are BMI-registered, am I all set? I assume so, as registering with BMI is supposed to be exclusionary (no registering elsewhere).
