I am out of the equipment game.

I got a crazy deal on a 1978 Marshall JMP Model 2203 with master volume.

I just have no reason to bother with another amp and looks like I am going to liquidate a couple of items as well.

It was an odd deal to be sure.

The guy who owned it, installed the wrong size Marshall logo on it.
(LOL Who cares)

The guy put a non standard handle on it.
(LOL Who cares)

It got modded with a 2 tube effects loop with a potentiometer for each send and return, with toggle switch to remove it from the circuit.
(LOL Oh yeahhhhhhhhhh)

He installed about 500$ worth of mods I'm thinking and a few I don't really know much about as of yet.

Worse, he can't remember who worked on it.
(LOL I still don't care)

And the collectors hated it..but it sounds like gold.
(LOL I'd have thought it desirable if it was scarred, burned and blasted as long as it sounded as good as it does)

I just have to scratch my head, so to speak.
The guy def didn't need the $.
I'd have kept that head till hell froze over.
Equipment like this is worth whatever hassle you have to go through to get what you want.

I took a big, fat, Marshall R-o-l-a-i-d-s and I sincerely think that it for me.
No more musical equipment, I feel full. LMAO

I wished it were that easy.

Noooooo, I am effects "sated".

And I really am trying to move away from too many effects.

I get too much bitching about how all my stuff is "drenched in effects".
I am just sick of listening to the moaning.
