It's been reported, RM, by both me & SP, I think.

All we can do is wait for them to act...

Hey, we only have 1 admin and you know he's pretty busy trying to make oatmeal, pour coffee, be the fry cook and whatever else he does besides be admin.

He sure doesn't concentrate on THIS site.

Hello, so you are looking to be a duo on board a cruise line? I was a dancer and singer for Carnival and Dolphin Cruise Line for 3 years. During that time, my best friends were a duo on board each ship, as we always transfered together.
Working conditions. You will generally live together with your spouse/BF/GF in the staff quarters of the ship, which is usually a deck or two below all the passenger cabins. You will have your own dining room, cabin steward and many ship priviledges. On average you would perform for 4 hours every night, with pay ranging from $500-$1,000 weekly plus tips (depends on the cruise line you work for, and how good you are).
As you would be considered staff, you would be required to attend life boat drills, be assigned a muster station (where passengers go if the ship is goin' down lol) and you must attend the life boat drills each and every time the ship debarks (this is for passengers to know what they're doing). Not once have I ever ran into anyone that performed on a ship as an entertainer that had to swab the deck or clean toilets. You're signing on as entertainer/cruise staff, not crew.
You'll have ALL of your port days off, and you can pretty much go and do anything on the ship aside from dancing in the disco, and playing in the casino.
There are also crew bars for staff, and the drinks are mega cheap. Up top drinks go for $7-$8 each; in the crew bar it's more like .75 for a beer and $2-$3 for mixed drinks.
You can work on each ship for a contract length of 6 months to a year at a time, and then if you want to sign back up for that particular ship you can do so, or request a transfer to another ship within the fleet. Once you are working for them, you have first dibs on transfers.
That's about it. Easy living, soaking up the sun during the day, and entertaining your audience every night.
Good Luck.

P.S. I recommend Royal Caribbean, Carnival, or Norwegian.

Thank you, Ahren for the great information. We're working with several agencies now and your post confirms much other info that we're finding online. By any chance, do you know anything about the overseas Asian/Middle East 5 Star Hotel market? I'm seeing that a lot of duos are working that circuit as well as cruise ships. Any other tips would be appreciated!
