Wednesday, August 15, 2007 - Joe Walsh at Meadowbrook. A band named JD and the Straight Shot opened; they covered the Dead and Little Feat, as well as did a few originals. They were OK. Finally around 9:15 Joe came on, opening with "Life of Illusion". He proceeded to play every great tune he ever wrote, including James Gang tunes "The Closet Queen/The Bomber" and "Walk Away", Eagle's tunes "In The City" and "Pretty Maids in a Row", as well as some obscure gems such as "Indian Summer". I've seen Joe many times, solo, with the James Gang and the Eagles, but this was by far the best.
