Musician Forum - Band Discussion Board - BandMix

I recently decided that the pits on the cruise ships are too much work for too little money. As I have never performed on a cruise ship before, I want my first time to be less-pressursing, more about the fun of performing and seeing a bit of the world! I'm struggling to find a band to join so that I can do this ideal job. How in this 21st century, with the Internet and a vast musical knowledge/ experience am I struggling with this!??? Does anybody have any tips, maybe about agents who take on individual musicians and place them into a band or a site which specialises in constructing cruise and hotel bands??
