As lead singer of the Gospel Joybelles we toured Maine and Canada. Our tours were scheduled a year ahead. We were scheduled for Maine and Canada to begin Sept. 12, 2001. No one will ever forget 9/11. We prayed about it but decided we needed to lift people's spirits more than ever. The Lord gave me a scripture one night staying over in Conneticut. "We are hard pressed on every side but not crushed, perplexed but not in dispair, persecuted but not forsaken, STRUCK DOWN BUT NOT DESTROYED! Amen!
We had no problem getting through customs into Canada and were SOOO Blessed to see American Flags and almost every business with a changable sign "Pray for our neighbors...America!" It was our best tour!
