I've had this Eden Nemesis NA320 for awhile, and I just bought an SKB case/rack for it along with a power conditioner. Now the amp came with rack "ears" to mount it to a rack, but it doesn't fit...it's not wide enough. The power conditioner fits perfectly. Is there not a standard width for racks or do I just have an oddball (discontinued) amp head?

Just measured my Alesis Studio 32 mixer (it was the closest rackmountable piece handy) and it's 17.5" wide. Most racks are standard now. If your amp head isn't wide enough you may be able to go to a metal shop and have some custom mounts made.

My Eden Nemesis is about 17" with the included "ears". Why would they include rack "ears" on an amp that they knew wouldn't fit into a standard 19" rack?

Maybe they sell overly expensive racks that only fit their own equipment. Must have learned that from Microsoft. :)

The ears should be easly replaced or modified with simple tools and some brackets from the hardware store.
If your into that sort of thing.
