Hi, Folks i just got my new yamaha HipGig (16"x22" BD ; 8"x5.5", 10", 13" toms ; 12" snare) sets with 8" additional tom. Overall it has a nice / deep drum sound (like regular sets). The original remo pinstripe toms head doesn't really resonance the drums sound, so i replaced with Remo coated diplomat head (7'5 mylar) i picked Diplomat becuse the head is so thin and matched with small size (diameter) HipGig sets, so far the original remo for the snare produced warm and crunchy sound + Russ miller snare wedge easy to make rim sound in any spots. Have any comment or idea please advise me. Thanks
