Hello Saki,
I am a very new drummer as it is just someone elses kit installed in my studio; but I love working at the drums and have started to teach myself these past few weeks.
I haven't dropped the sticks too often, but it has struck me once of twice I might do well to secure the sticks... on balance it seems better to keep learning as I am, as I am not going to perform in front of people!
