Hey everyone,

I'm in a few different projects and monitoring live has always been frustrating. In order to run backing/click tracks and get better vocal monitoring, I've purchased an in ear monitoring system with packs for up to four musicians. No one is really picky about their own individual mix, the goal is to clearly hear the backing tracks with click and vocals. The problem is that every show so far, we've run into a sound guy who either doesn't know how to output to the transmitter or he can't take the time to do it properly. The question is.. how can we control our monitoring from the stage and still send a clean signal to the board at the same time? I know I'll probably need to purchase a small mixer or splitter to bring to shows, just not sure where to start.
