I remember the clear solid lexan guitars that Ampeg made in the 60's. They weighed a ton.
At least I think it was Ampeg.

It seemed like my Les Paul weighed about the same at the end of the gig.

When all is said and done, you'd have to ask yourself WHY??? I wonder if the frets are replaceable. Just in case you did want it for gigs.

The problem with all-metal guitars is they change size (literally) with temperature change - throwing tuning and intonation off. 76 lbs - must be solid brass? WHY?!

Is that shipping weight? In a casket?
