I am working on a design for a new music stand light and I would like to know about any specific elements that should be included in the product and/or anything which is not currently fulfilled by the options available on the market. Any help is most welcome!

Should be able to kick the danged thing across the room without the light bulb or any other part of the system failing.
Road trips ( vibration, humidity, heat & cold ) destroy musical equipment.
If it's not back-road worthy . . . it ain't worth investing in.

The one I have now is pretty good, dual lights with 2 intensities, battery or AC power. The Clip that holds it to the stand isn't all that strong and can slip around a little. Also I don't think tit would work well on one of those folding stands that have just a 'framework'.
