sanshouheil - I have tried a number over time - many borrowed and have settled with Ultrasone Pro 550 - good clean sound right through the range - bass is tight and not over the top as can be the case with the 650 and 750.
A case of the cheaper in the range is the better - am hearing things now I was missing before

I'll be the second to recommend the sennheiser brand.

for an affordable but comfortable tracking headphone the hd280 pros are good. They've reduced the price over the years and now they're like 100 a pair.

Pretty good isolation at lower levels and not fatiguing on your ears. My clients like them alot.
