I'm trying to minimize my setup time at gigs, and would love if the power brick for my mixer was somehow locked down inside my road case so it can stay plugged into my power conditioner and mixer. Anyone find a good way of doing that?? Can't find ideas via Google.

All of our power comes off of three CARVIN power conditioners that are located in our rolling road case.

I don't think I understand the need for a "brick" . . . We route this "preconditioned juice" to all the various musicians amps / pedal boards ETC.

I even route it to the distribution points for our lights fog fans, ETC.

I can plug each conditioner into a different circuit if needed and run 60 amps of preconditioned power into our whole set up.

Just get a road case that will hold everything.

my setup, we have the mixer on top, all effects below that, and then I have 4 power amps all wired and ready to go, all we have to do is hook up the speakers and mics and we are good to go

I have 2 power conditioners in the case, one runs all the power amps, and the other the mixer and all other gear

Course this sumbitch wieghs around 400 lbs, but i got tired of hooking all the extra cords every gig, inside the box I cut all the cords to proper lengths so there isnt any extra coils in there, its one of the best things Ive done. The case has big wheels so one person can actually roll it around.

I'm guessing "power brick" means wall wart or outboard DC power supply. You can use plumbers strapping, heavy duty velcro or a bead of silicone on the bottom and just stick it to the bottom of your road case.

Simplifying your setup and having everything pre-wired and tested make things go smoothly when setting up under time pressure on a dark stage.

Each musician in our band is responsible for his own D/C for pedal boards ETC.
Mine is all included ( glued screwed and tattooed ) to my pedal board.
The A/C to each member is distributed as I'd mentioned above.

You'd have to have some long D/C current cables to run D/C from the Road-case to each musician.

Unless I'm missing the meaning somehow ? . . . sounds absurd to me.

Just a guess George but I think the "power brick" is an outboard power supply for his mixer. Some are like that because they are quieter, especially digital mixers. He wasn't real specific but it sound like he just needs to tack it down in his road case so it doesn't flop around and beat itself to death in transport. Not sure though.
