whipped this out today... it's a demo of "my precious" - just hoping this generous community would give a listen and comment.
(be nice to me - I'm sensitive)

I'm a big fan of clean deep bass tone.
That said . . . I think our bassist Eric would love this thing.

Don't sweat it.."the genre changed to FUNK".
(it's meant to be a sample to display what the pedal can do, no?)
I just love the mud..get down and roll in it.
The problem is where and what I am doing now, there isn't any and that part up to :33-34 reminds me of where I come from..
(sad tear) lol

not sweating... and yes just a demo.
you mean the bass playing on the intro at :33? or the tone of it at :33?
the intro is a cover, and was just trying to emulate flea's tone there and thought I hit it pretty close but am always looking to improve so just wanted to know specifically what you meant.
either way, thanks for the input!

The whole of it to :33-:34 is a place I know all too well although unfamiliar with the song whatever it might be...
That's where everything is interesting and nothing is dull and lifeless..even the colors smell good.. lol

ok, so you like the fuzzy bass part, but not the funky bass part... perhaps my playing there isn't quite up to par... but I did wear a blister on my right hand learning it so perhaps I can lay the blame there and try again when it heals!
anywho, again, I appreciate your feedback very much.
