Hard rock band "Man The Destroyer" is looking for young energetic students who want to get hands on experience in the music scene on an internship level.
There will be 3 to5 Positions available for an assistant to the band manger, a road manger and an assistant, and publicist, and assistant. "MTD" will see to it that all persons are properly trained for each duty.
Those chosen will gain the knowledge required to pursue their own area of interest in the music business.
All this is leading to the filming of Man The Destroyers 1st video single to be played on Much Music set to start production summer 2007.
There will be 8 to10 Positions available for drums, guitar, bass, and vocals. "MTD" will give free lessons in all these areas. Students chosen will be expected to assist the band during rehearsals and live shows.
The band will teach the students how to set up for proper sound, tuning of instruments, and stage performance. Those chosen will gain the knowledge required to pursue their own area of interest in the music business.
Duties include set-up and take down of
gear, loading and unloading during shows sound checks etc. All aspects of these duties will be taught by the band. These are temp level positions but can lead to permanent spots.
