Made an awsome marshall cabinet mic holder today

I made it from a 3 foot long piece of aluminum I got from Lowes. The piece on the cabinet uses the original holes for the cabinet. I put two nuts behind it to give it a little space to insert the bracket. Let me know how you like it !!!

That should work. Mic placement is pretty critical and varies a lot based on the mic used or guitar sound you are going for. I might add a small boom or gooseneck to create flexibility and complete your setup.

It is a large diaphragm front loaded mic. Just hang it over the amp and gaffers tape on top to keep it in place. I hardly ever use an amp these days I use the Helix Floor with two XLR cables ran direct to the mixer panned hard left and hard right.
