I just ran into one of these as well !!!

I didn't hear it play, but it's supposed to help gain in a fender amp.

One guy looked me right in the eye and told me that it killed his SUPER SIX.

(I was aghast) lol

Another guy told me that he used it in another amp and loved it.

Which is it now? Is it worth having?

Sound any good? Does it really smoke your amp?

No pro experience with it but I did plug one into my 64 Super Reverb once. I thought it sucked. To my ears a TS808 or OCD pedal sounds MUCH better. YMMV
