Any sound samples?
It looks like it came from the Motherland! The picture just needs a bottle of Vodka next to it!
I enjoy your threads on pedals!

Not to be a prick ... but I'd sooner have a swastika tattooed on my forehead as own a piece of equipment that bears the sickle and hammer of my sworn enemy.

sans, u r good peeps. I've known you to be a person of religious background, and with that in mind I am surprised to hear you 'hate' anything so vehemently, but I respect and acknowledge your opinion.

The hammer and sickle are symbols of the industrial proletariat and the peasantry; placing them together symbolizes the unity between industrial and agricultural workers.
The swastika is of Sanskrit origin and the symbol is one of good luck or a charm or a religious symbol (the last, among the Jains and Buddhists) that goes back to at least the Bronze Age.

The hippies in the 60s gave you
the peace sign.
Now everybody just gives me the
finger.

It looks cool enough, I'd be afraid people would react to it like Sans did.

It's not wrong for a "religious" person to hate sin / evil.
As a matter of fact we are supposed to hate sin / evil.
The sickle & hammer represent oppression and death at the hands of communism.
10,000 time mores murderous than the Nazis, and still very much active even as we speak.
And yes ... as a free man, I hate the bastards with all my being and believe they should be put to the sword ruthlessly.
But ... was not my intent to distract the post away from the musical intent.
And for that I apologize.
It's really cool to have someone here with the knowledge and skills to construct his own boutique pedals.
And for that you have my utmost respect.

"let me be clear" the origin of the symbol on this pedal is a tribute to the fine craftsman ship associated with the original russian made big muffs.
in my mind, it doesn't represent support for political regimes any more so than an la raiders jersey would represent support of pillage and plunder... or the american flag would represent support for the supply of arms to central american military outfits or a red cross would represent support of the crusades.
that said, I would defend your right to associate anything you like with that or any other symbol.

A bit of information I and other "casual observes" are without.
Thanks for the clarification.
I meant no disrespect.

not offended in the least. I guess I'll hold off on my plans for a dixi-flag-dukes-of-hazzard version then! hehe.
